Which “Cup of Tea” would you prefer?

Which “Cup of Tea” would you prefer?

Tea is known for it soothing and refreshing drink around the world. No matter where we are, we still enjoy tea throughout our lives.

The habit of consumption of tea is traced way back in B.C. which is in China. And now, tea is spread all over the world, due to its health benefits of mankind. Tea contains one third caffeine than coffee.

As for me, I drink all sorts of tea, from Eastern to Western tea. I most prefer green tea. Though there’s a lot of tea better green tea, such as Oolong Tea, I chose green tea too. It’s not because I tasted Japanese green tea, which made me like green tea.

Green tea, which contains Camellia Sinensis, has many medical and scientific benefits. It was stated that those who consume green tea regularly might have lower chances of heart disease and also helps in weight loss.

The great things from green tea were two metabolites, theophilline and theobromine. Theophilline, which can helps cure respiratory problems such as asthma and control blood pressure (better than any other drug in use). Theobromine, on the other hand, can cure heart diseases and reduce hypertension to a great effect (just like chocolate). To top it up, theobromine drug is used to cure cancer in recent medical treatments.

Last but not the least, the wise used to say “Consume for whatever you have moderately, but not EXCESS”.

p.s. Maybe you can may find me and my friends drinking tea in campus. ^^

Eating Chocolate Can Make Us Look Younger?

Eating Chocolate Can Make Us Look Younger?

Eating chocolate doesn’t make us look younger, but prevent us from getting older. This is to say that we look younger than our age. Why?

This is because chocolate is chock full of potent antioxidants called phenols, the same as those found in wine. We all grow old throughout the year and old as we all continue to consume more oxygen. Then again, if a person doesn’t breath will eventually die if they want to prevent from getting old; which doesn’t make any sense.

Furthermore, chocolates are a good de-stressing delicacy. This chemical contain in the chocolate, named Phenethylamine, whish is a precursor to the neurotransmitter phenyl ethanolamine. This chemical act as an antidepressant drug which to say,

“Half a chocolate bar – The sweet stuff’s sugar content can raise endorphin levels, and a compound called anandamide is believed to boost person’s mood, which fight stress”

But that doesn’t mean that we must eat chocolate all the time to avoid stress because eating excess chocolates will cause addiction.

Another chemical that contain in the chocolate is theobromine, which was the cause of bitterness in chocolate and could be more effective in treating coughs than codeine, an ingredient in some cough medicines. A 1000mg theobromine tablet is equivalent of about five dark chocolate bars, or over 420 kilojoules, yet chocolates can be treated as medicine. Besides, theobromine is also helpful in treating asthma since it relaxes the smooth muscles, including the ones found in bronchi. Therefore, if you have a cough or asthma, a small piece of chocolates might help.

In conclusion, chocolates indeed can help us all de-stress, somehow prevent us from sickness (not excess in eating chocolates), and yes; we will look younger and healthy.

p.s. Chocolates are really irresistible.
